There are two main career paths within SupplHi:

  • The Information Technology path that designs, develops and maintain all IT systems connected to the Vendor Management platform – including cybersecurity and research on new technologies with the development of prototypes. Key roles are:

The interview process at SupplHi

Anyone can easily access our selection process, which consists of three steps:

  1. Apply: match your skills and interests to our open job positions. Your CV is the first piece of information we’ll see about you, so highlight your achievements.
  2. Interview: if your CV is in line with our requirements, you will be contacted for the selection process. In particular, we will carry out a brief cognitive telephone interview, in order to check if the interests of both sides are aligned.
    1. During the phone interview, you will speak with a Senior or Managerial role resource. For all roles, the phone discussion will last between 30 and 45 minutes. Be prepared for behavioral, hypothetical, or case-based questions that cover your role-related knowledge.
    2. You will be asked an open-ended question.
    3. If the telephone interview turns out to be positive, we will proceed with a further interview, this time in person.
  3. Final step: after your interviews are done, our company will review your full candidacy package, which includes your interview feedback, your resume, references, and any work samples you submitted.

Role description

The Category Lead will be coordinating the Category Analyst team, which is at the core of SupplHi’s operations. Categories of industrial goods and services are the building blocks of SupplHi, and allow each Vendor Company to access the Company’s digital services. The Category Lead manages a specific and homogeneous set of categories of supplies, continuously building knowledge of the global market arena, performing and presenting analyses to the SupplHi Team and to Clients and interacting with international Buyers and key international industry players and stakeholders (e.g. associations, financial institutions, inspectors, senior experts, …).

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the industry or in consulting
  • Enthusiasm about working at a startup focused on the industrial world
  • Willingness to act as an entrepreneur with ownership and immediate visibility on results
  • Previous experience in interacting with clients, both remotely and at their offices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding yet young and international environment
  • Desire to grow, learn and develop a global expertise with an increasing level of autonomy
  • Availability to travel on an occasional basis, for example to participate in industry fairs and exhibitions
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, Excel and PowerPoint in particular
  • Language skills: proficiency in English, knowledge of other foreign languages (e.g. Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, German, …) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Management of all the interfaces and information related to the set of Categories under the Category Lead’s responsibility
  • Providing quality assurance of all information present on the supplhi.com platform, also coordinating with senior experts and inspectors and reporting to the COO
  • Support the innovation process within SupplHi, proposing ideas to continuously improve the User Experience on the platform
  • Deliver time-sensitive analyses on the categories of competence

SupplHi is an independent digital ecosystem for industrial equipment and services founded by former consultants at leading international Management Consulting firms. The Market Analyst Team transforms data into information and information into insights, while supporting top management from the core of SupplHi’s operations.

Knowledge of their target markets (size, competition, accessibility, …) is of key importance for our clients, therefore Market Analysts continuously build knowledge of the global market arena and perform analyses on specific categories of supplies or geographies. To ensure maximum accuracy our analyses are characterized by a high number of interactions with key industry players and stakeholders (e.g. associations, financial institutions, inspectors, senior experts, universities, …) on an international level.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in the industry or in consulting (possibility to start as an intern in case of less than 2 years of experience)

  • Proactively monitor the market of specific geographies or groups of categories, based on the business’s current needs
  • Support the progress of Vendor companies that are registering on the platform, providing quality assurance of all information, also coordinating with senior experts and inspectors and reporting to Category Managers and the COO/CEO
  • Perform analyses on the set of Categories under the Market Analyst’s responsibility to ensure the SupplHi Standard Categorization of goods and services is always up to date and fully reflects market competition
  • Keep a continuous flow of information between the market and SupplHi’s clients through weekly updates and “market point of view” articles

Role description

Graphic and Creative Web Designer with intermediate / senior level knowledge of graphic design (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator) and web development tools (HTML, CSS, WordPress, …). Basic knowledge of and an eye for video and photo editing. The designer needs to interpret our clients’ needs, designing solutions with high visual impact. The graphic designer will work on a variety of products, including websites, books, magazines, packaging, exhibitions, corporate identity etc. and he/she will cooperate with our marketing and sales teams.

He/she will be responsible for maintaining our brand guidelines throughout the material we use and share, including any joint projects with our business partners.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role (possibility to start as an intern in case of <2 years of experience)
